Maintenance worker

For the HOTEL DE LA VILLE, located in the heart of Riccione, a beautiful Art Nouveau villa, surrounded by the tranquility of its own private garden.
In a truly privileged position just 50 metres from Viale Ceccarini and a short walk from the city's main points of interest: the train station is just around the corner, the Palacongressi just 80 metres away and Riccione beach 300 metres away.


Main functions and tasks – Main activities
The Maintenance Manager, reporting to the Hotel Management, is responsible for overseeing the functionality and efficiency of the hotel's systems, and manages and coordinates all ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities.
She is responsible for the daily care and maintenance of the entire facility, both internally and externally, following established operating procedures and working proactively to ensure improved maintenance services for guests and staff.
She supervises the maintenance of the greenery, the outdoor pools, and the spa, and collaborates with the Reception and Sales Manager for conference activities.
He will be the first to intervene, based on his specific knowledge, on the listed systems.
He coordinates with two Porters, who have specific roles and will support him with blocking activities in his absence. He also supports them during shift changes.
Identifies and manages external suppliers in the maintenance area.
Prepares a preventive and predictive maintenance plan.
Will carry out routine electrical maintenance (periodic checks, functional checks, component replacements).
It will act promptly in the event of breakdowns or anomalies, managing extraordinary maintenance.
It will ensure the correct functioning of domestic electrical systems and connected equipment.
Drafts technical reports and compiles documentation relating to interventions.
Organizes the spare parts warehouse, coordinating with the purchasing office.


Requirements:

• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of basic mechanical elements
• Knowledge of the operation of electrical, plumbing, boiler and air conditioning systems
• Ability to carry out repair work by intervening in the event of malfunctions
• Ability to solve electrical, plumbing, carpentry and masonry problems
• Ability to perform painting work
• Previous experience in maintenance of buildings, private homes/villas and/or accommodation/conference facilities for at least 3 years, preferably in tourist facilities
• Knowledge of English is an advantage.
